The Weasku Inn (pronounced "we ask you in") started as a fishing lodge in 1924. Famous visitors: Clark Gable, Carol Lombard, Bing Crosby, and Walt Disney. Just off to the north side is the Rogue River, with a walking path that takes you down to the water. My cabin was super-luxurious and had a great outdoor balcony. The weather was perfect for sitting outside. View from the cabin. The Weasku Inn Lodge, 5560 Rogue River Hwy, Grants Pass weasku.com. Safari Wildlife is a non-profit wildlife park dedicated to conservation, and education. It opened in 1972, and is now six hundred acres, with more than five hundred animals. The animals roam free in wide open natural enclosures. The founders were Frank and Barbara Hart, and their dream was to create a place to help protect endangered species, and has since become a world-class breeding facility for cheetahs. The park is located in Winston wildlifesafari.net. Following are photos of the animals by Dillon Powers, whose portfolio can be found at flickr.com/photos/dillonpowers.
