Lakeview at the Bay is the premier apartment complex in The Lakes of Tempe. The Lakes offers single family homes, patiohomes, condos, and apartment communities. Click here for more photos of The Lakes: The Lakes of Tempe

The Lakeview at the Bay apartment community is easy to find. From Los Angeles: Take the 10 freeway east for 380 miles (that is past Palm Springs, for those of you who don't get out often). After you drive through the underground tunnel in downtown Phoenix, continue on 10 past the airport to the Mesa-Globe Freeway, Hwy. 60. Go east on 60. Continue for approximately two miles, exit at Rural Road and go south. Go left on Baseline and there it is, on the SE corner of Rural and Baseline.

This is the smaller pool. The other pool has a fountain around it. Both pools have spas, as seen below at the big pool.

The complex is located on a private lake surrounded by single family homes. People park their boats in their back yards. Only a handful of apartments face the lake, but this private picnic area is available to everyone. The complex also has a clubhouse, workout room, volley ball and basket ball courts, and is walking distance to shopping.

These are private homes seen on opposite shores of the lake.
