On this page, I have rated my new dream characters with one emoji for each of intensity (2.5% of my overall dreams). I've also included a dream about each new character. This is the first dream from the series: February 26, 1989 * In another dream Linda Jacobson came over to look at my paintings. She couldn't look at them all because she said they had meningitis. These weren't particularly bad dreams - I think they were somehow good. Interpretation: My dream paintings had meningitis! In the temple, the authoritarian leaders told us we could not be artists, since it would be a waste of our time. After reading all my dreams about Linda, I get the feeling she understood me right from the start, and set out to fix my problem. Metamorphosis dream (abridged): Dated November 9, 1990 - 5:13 * . . . I get to my classroom and I hear class going on - Mukunda is discussing a lesson with the students. . . . Then Mukunda changes to Vic Savicki and he is writing the grade points on the board. The chart is upside down. I add up all the points and feel sure I got an A Interpretation: Mukunda Goswami had been my mentor in the temple, and I believe Dr. Savicki filled a similar role in my new life. I believe Prof. Savicki saw me as a rebel, but he did his best to bring me into the world of youth counseling. This is the first dream I had about Sallie: Dated January 2, 2000 (abridged) * . . . I go home - straight through Sallie's house. Interpretation: Meeting Sallie and reconnecting with my childhood home helped me "go home" after ten years in a cult. Dream: Dated July 26, 1995 * A dream about Sri & different ways for him to travel - He says he wants to spend a week at the temple to do a movie about the deities. I try to arrange rides for him & he tells me how he wants things to be. Interpretation: The dream describes our client-directed relationship. I never tried to tell him what to do with his life, but mostly listened to what he wanted to do. The difficult times were when his cult beliefs or behaviors would flare up. However, he got his life together after one year. Dream (abridged): Diary entry: Dated February 23, 2007 * Astrology report for Tim & me - It said we had an important relationship in a past life - That is why we felt like we knew each other as soon as we met - He pushed his way into my life & now says he loves me - Amazing how that worked out. April 2, 2007 * . . . I see Tim again, but he looks much different - I think that If I still love him, he will turn into the same man again . . . Another dream (abridged): Dated September 29, 2007 * . . . In another part, Tim tells me " 'Tim' is gone. I am changing my name - no more Tim." . . . Interpretation: The dreams speak for themselves. I chose emojis to indicate the emotional ups and downs of our short-lived engagement.
