June 25, 2006, some friends and I went to the Denver Botanical Gardens. Some of these photos show the artwork of Robert Wick, the "Living Bronze" traveling exhibit, installed in the gardens through the end of October 2006. Next: two of my favorite David Wick sculptures. The artist intends this sculputure as a metaphor for the delicate balance needed in life, as taught by the Buddha. The artist based this sculpture on an archeological find. Note the plants growing from some of the Buddhas' feet. The plants grow, blossom, and change over the course of the installation.
