There are no designated historic districts in Tempe, but there are several subdivisions eligible for historic recognition, including Borden Homes, Goodwin Homes, Park Tract, College View, Roosevelt Addition, Gage Addition, and University Park. Another area of interest is the Arizona State University Historic District, which includes university buildings covering a hundred years of history and architecture.
