The elegant pueblo-style buildings of the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort are set in wings around this beautiful landscaped patio with a network of pools and canals. You can swim from pool to pool, passing under wooden bridges.

After you swim your way to the bottom, spend an afternoon floating in the salt water pool.

The salt water pool is is warmer and partly shady by 2 p.m. The absence of chlorine makes it even more inviting to stay in a long time. You can rent canoes and inflatable rafts. The hotel also has a non-sheltered beach and a lap pool (not pictured).
